West African Drumming Classes

Are you ready to deepen your relationship to the music? If so, this is the right class for you!  This dunun class will begin Monday, 09/15 and will be offered at a private residence.  We will cover stick and bell technique and some of the fundamental rhythmic structures we encounter in traditional West African rhythms.  Interested? The first six-week series at Namaqua UU will begin Thursday, 09/04 and will meet from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.   In this class, we will learn all parts to a rhythm, hand and stick drum technique, a song, and an arrangement. To register, click HERE
