Do you think you lack rhythm? Don't worry! If you have a heartbeat, you've got rhythm! In this high-energy class, experience the joy of traditional West African drumming. We'll explore all parts of a rhythm, and by the end of the course, you'll have a basic understanding of hand and bass drum techniques along with an appreciation for this rich musical tradition. No musical experience necessary! Supplies are included. Bring your own drum if you'd prefer.
